RPG Exploration - NPCs, Shops & Ashfall Camp

Between combat missions, Sector Zero opens up. First-person exploration lets you walk through settlements, approach NPCs, and press Z to open multi-page dialog conversations. Each character has a name, a role, and something to say about the state of the sector.

Ashfall Forward Camp is the first explorable settlement - a forward operating base on a volcanic world. Five NPCs staff the camp: Commander Voss issues mission briefings, Doc Kael patches you up, Lt. Reyes handles logistics, a Survivor shares fragmented memories, and a Scavenger sells salvage at markup.
Merchant NPCs open shop interfaces where you can buy consumables and materials with credits earned in combat. Prices vary - some items are cheaper at outposts closer to the front line, while rare components only appear in deep-sector settlements. The exploration layer transforms Sector Zero from a pure action game into something with characters, economy, and a story worth following.
